Beard wash is a shampoo designed for washing and cleansing the beard hair. Used in the same way as a typical hair shampoo by lathering into the hair and rinsing out. Beard hair is often a different colour and texture to head hair, this is because beard hair requires different care and maintenance. Head hair shampoo can remove natural oils from the beard and this can make it very dry and brittle, resulting in the hair prone to snapping as it grows.
